Types of visa

There are several different types of visa that are available for you to apply for if you are planning to travel any other country in the West or East, you should have full knowledge of what are the types of visas that you could be applying for.

  1. Multiple-visit visa

The multiple visit visas are usually only granted to officials or people on any particular business position. As a new Afghan passport holder, you will be able to get visit visa grant to more than 80+ countries in the world. The time duration for multiple entry visit visa will vary from 3 months to 1 year.

  1. Work Entry

If you are an Afghani passport holder, you will be able to apply for work entry permit to more than 50+ countries. The minimum time duration for which you will get the work visa is 90 days. However, this visa is subject to extension if you get a permanent job in the foreign country.

  1. Residential Permit

Afghani residents are though facing a lot of restrictions and problems in the recent times to apply for a residential permit to any other country. However, it is still a valid category.

  1. Transit Visa

The transit visa will be only required if you are traveling on an Afghani passport and have to change flights or stay for a few hours as a mid-way stop in some other country.
