In January I got B1/B2 USA VISA. I traveled in US during February and March. When I came back I realised my passport expiry date is coming. So, I renew my passport in last month. Now while shifting my house my old passport get wet from a baby’s Milk spot as you can see in Photos. But my new passport is fine. I have my flight in mid September. Is there any issue or everything will be fine during Immigration process?
Guide me Thanks

  1. If the visa sticker is fine then it shouldn’t be a problem.
If the visa sticker is also affected then just to be on safe side you can send your passport to the embassy from where your visa was issued. They will scan if and if its not readable by the machine they will do something to fix it.

  2. Your passport is fine so is your visa as long as your information is readable on the us visa page.my picture on my us visa page had some straches thanks to some immigration officer in Pakistan :/ but it wasn’t an issue at all They had some kinda special light to check if the us seal on the visa page was intact!besides they have your finger prints already stored in their system for your identification

  3. If you have previously travelled on the same visa there shouldn’t be any issue as they would have your information in their system. Just tell them baby spilled milk on your passport . Keep it simple and stupid.

  4. As others are saying, it seems okay to me as well. Though want to ask one question, on your earlier trip how much duration you got upon entry by immigration officer? Heard they give 6 months as standard, even if person is going for few weeks.

  5. All they check is via bar code. and this spill of water milk doesn’t effect bar code untill they are torn.
    it’s perfectly fine

  6. Its fine, a similar situation happened with my wife …. important thing is your visa sticker and new passport should be fine. if visa sticker has also got effected than usually it can be replaced by embassies after nominal charges.

  7. if new passport is fine then just chill. as long as machine readable line on front of new passport is fine, thats all you would require
