La Jonction Geneva, Switzerland. Confluence of the crystal clear blue waters of the river Rhone on the left and the murky silted waters of the river Arve. The Rhone exits from the Lake Lehman whereas the Arve gets it's silted water from the glaciers of the Chamonix valley. The photo was taken late evening so it is not showing how blue and clear the Rhone is, it is crystal clear. Took me two hours to find this vantage point but it was extremely rewarding. The viaduct I am standing on is closed to cars.
