Romania Visa Requirements for Pakistani Passport
The first document needed for a Romanian tourism visa is a cover letter. This letter must contain all the details of your reason for visiting Romania and the designation you hold at your current organization. If you’re being invited by a sponsor or host, make sure that this letter has all the important information about him such as his social security number, current designation, and current residential address. Bear in mind that these details must be verifiable as the Romanian authorities will run a background check on your host.
The next item on the list of documents you need to get a Romanian tourist visa is an invitation letter. First and foremost, this letter must be from your sponsor or host who is a Romanian native. If you are travelling for business purposes, this letter must be from the company you plan to do business with which must be registered in Romania.
Visa Application Forms
You are required to submit 2 visa application forms which must be signed by the applicant at the Consular section and submitted with all the other documents on this list.
Passport Size Photographs
Just like with any other travel document, you would require 2 passport size photos. These photos should be captured against a white background and be on a non-glossy paper as this considerably helps the database computers. Moreover, these photographs should be as recent as possible (not older than 6 months) so as to ensure that there are no identification issues.
A copy of the applicant’s National Tax Number (NTN) certificate must also be submitted when applying for your visa.
Chamber of Commerce Membership Certificate
You must also provide some proof of your affiliation with the Chamber of Commerce. This can be done by submitting your Chamber of Commerce membership certificate.
You also need to submit a bank letter and bank statement of the last six months. This bank statement must state that your account has at least 10,000 euros (if you’re going to Romania for a short, personal trip) or 75,000 euros (for longer stays in the country).
Proof of Business
This requirement is only for those people who are travelling to Romania for business purposes. They are required by law to submit some evidence of their intended business with the Romanian company.
You must also book a flight ticket and attach its photocopy on your visa application.
You must also bring your original CNIC as it proves your nationality and, more importantly, identity. If you intend to travel with your children, then bring along the original B form from NADRA.
Goes without saying that your passport is needed for you to be granted a visa to visit Romania. A passport is important as it is a document that proves your nationality as well as identity. It also contains important bits of data such as your full name, date and place of birth, and a recent photograph. The Romanian embassy also asks you to attach all of your previous passports and make sure that your current passport is valid for at least 6 months beyond your intended stay in Romania.
Before you can be granted entry into the country, the Romanian authorities need to check and verify your accommodation in Romania. You can do this by showing them a copy of your hotel reservations. If you’re staying at your sponsor’s house, then you must state the complete address of your Romanian host.
Valid Police Character Certificate
You are also required to submit a police character certificate. This requirement is for people who have lived in a country for more than 5 years. Applicants are required to submit the original and a copy of the police character certificate with their visa application form.
The last thing on this list is medical and accidental coverage. We recommend getting AIG Insurance because this plan is perfect for short, foreign trips.
